Treatments & Rehab

Recover for the work you actually need to do

Whether symptoms developed suddenly or built up over time, workplace rehabilitation should consider the real demands of your job—not only how you feel in the clinic.

By appointment only at Tanjong Pagar and East Coast.

Desk, manual, mobile, and repetitive work all have demands

Workload, recovery, movement options, equipment, and health may all contribute—not only “ergonomics”. The plan should rebuild capacity for the tasks you need to resume.

Symptoms that follow the working week

  • Neck, shoulder, or back pain associated with prolonged desk work
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling injuries
  • Repetitive upper-limb or hand-related symptoms
  • Lower-limb pain that affects standing, walking, stairs, or site work
  • Returning to work after an injury or surgery
  • Symptoms that return when workload increases

What we look at during your assessment

We start with the role itself: what you lift, how long you sit, which tasks bring symptoms on, and what “being able to work” actually requires. Assessment may then include movement, strength, endurance, and functional tasks that reflect that work—not only how you feel in the clinic.

You receive a plan that can include symptom strategies, progressive strength, pacing, workstation advice where relevant, and staged return-to-work steps.

  • How long you sit, stand, lift, or repeat a task
  • Movement, strength, and endurance for those job demands
  • Workstation set-up only where it is relevant to the symptoms

How we help you get back to work

  • Symptom-management and movement strategies
  • Progressive strength and capacity building
  • Advice on modifying or pacing work tasks
  • Guidance for desk or workstation setup where relevant
  • Graded return-to-work planning
  • Communication or reports where agreed and within professional scope

Check requirements before you book

Some appointments need a referral, a nominated provider, or particular documents. Contact the clinic before booking if your visit is part of a claim. The clinic should state clearly which documents it can provide and must not imply that a claim will be accepted.

A person can move well on the treatment bench and still struggle with a two-hour meeting, a trolley, or a late shift. We test those demands before calling the plan complete.

“Had an arm surgery last Dec which caused my right arm movement to be limited. Been going for weekly Physio session with Janette since Feb and Pilates... session with Jingwen since Jun. Both of them are very professional and friendly. Have seen huge improvement in my arm range movement now. Would highly recommend!”

Questions people often ask

Do I need to stop work completely?

That depends on the injury, medical advice, and job demands. Where appropriate, temporary modification and a graded plan may support recovery better than an all-or-nothing approach.

Is this part of a workplace or insurance claim?

Employer, insurer, or workplace-injury processes may require specific documents, referrals, providers, or approvals. Contact the clinic before booking if your appointment is part of a claim. Coverage and claim decisions sit with your insurer, employer, or doctor—not with this webpage.

Can you provide a medical certificate or workplace report?

The clinic can discuss what documents it can provide. Medical certificates and claim decisions sit with your doctor, employer, or insurer. Ask before your visit if you need a particular report.

What should I bring?

Bring relevant medical reports, referral or claim documents, and a description of the tasks that are difficult. Photos or measurements of a workstation may be useful if requested, but do not send confidential workplace information without approval.
